Meanwhile, Rivera waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lobos.
In the three sets Rivera was on fire: they won each by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 23-25, 25-12.
Tiffany Garza and Mia Guerrero were among the main playmakers for Rivera as the former had 23 digs and the latter had 14 digs. Garza has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.
