Softball Recap: Clear Falls Comes Up Short

Clear Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the Clear Springs Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-3 back in March.

Clear Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was P LaFrenz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Clear Falls' loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Clear Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Clear Falls will challenge Clear Brook at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Clear Springs, they will take on Dickinson at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
