Soccer Recap: St. Mary's Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, St. Mary rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Rodriguez Mustangs a 1-0 shutout. The Rams' winning goal came courtesy of Nethan Chudleigh.

St. Mary's now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rodriguez, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's will face off against Woodcreek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Mary's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Rodriguez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
