Football Game Preview: Elma Eagles vs. Montesano Bulldogs + How To Watch

Elma hasn't had much luck against Montesano recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Elma got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They managed a 13-9 win over Hoquiam. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

A big part of Elma's victory came down to the chemistry between Isaac McGaffey and his top target Colt Landstrom. McGaffey threw for 140 yards and one touchdown while Landstrom picked up 104 receiving yards and one TD.

Elma didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jaxon Brookins.

Meanwhile, Montesano's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 13-7 to Nooksack Valley. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Montesano fell to 7-1. As for Elma, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
