Basketball Recap: Ellah Oeser Key Part of a Team Effort in Falcons Win

Skyridge won the last time they faced Pleasant Grove and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Skyridge Falcons strolled past the Pleasant Grove Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 61-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Skyridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ellah Oeser out in front who went 6 for 9 on her way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Merceius Mili, who posted 16 points.

Skyridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Pleasant Grove's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tabi Clark, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, and McCoy Larson, who put up ten points. The dominant performance gave Larson a new career-high in points. Makenzie Boyer also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Skyridge now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Pleasant Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Skyridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-48 win against American Fork on the 24th. As for Pleasant Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-58 victory against Lehi on the 24th.
