Football Recap: Osceola Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Osceola and Jesuit squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Osceola had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Tigers, falling 62-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Tigers are ranked 19th).

Will Griffin produced another solid effort throwing for 278 yards and five touchdowns while completing 94.7% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score for Jesuit. That's the most passing yards Griffin has posted since back in August. Kaleb Smith was Griffin's top target, picking up 108 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Osceola moved to 7-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Jesuit, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Osceola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jesuit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Naples at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
