Columbus extended their postseason success on Saturday against Marion. They beat the Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-2. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Columbus' 16th in a row) raised their record to 26-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Marion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 20-9-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Columbus beat the Bulldogs by a score of 10-2 later that day.
