The Mountain View Bruins entered their tilt with the Mountain Ridge Sentinels with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Mountain View enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over Mountain Ridge on Wednesday. That looming 61-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mountain View yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mountain View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Simeon Suguturaga, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. That's the first time this season that Suguturaga posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Bryce Mella, who scored 20 points.

Mountain Ridge lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Will Lindsay, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Lindsay scored a full 26.1% of Mountain Ridge's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Sylvester, who scored eight points along with five assists.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mountain Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

One thing working in Layton's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
