Recap: Maclay Marauders vs. Altha Wildcats
The Maclay Marauders entered their tilt with the Altha Wildcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Maclay was the clear victor by a 36-11 margin over Altha. For Maclay, this counts as revenge for the 43-39 defeat Altha walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.
Maclay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aleeza Moore, who scored 10 points. Lauren Guyer was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Maclay's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Altha, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Maclay will be playing in front of their home fans against Crossroad Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Altha, they will face off against Aucilla Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
