Baseball Recap: West Greene Comes Up Short

If West Greene was riding high fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Happy Valley on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Buffaloes fell 6-2 to the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights on Sunday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-0 loss back in March.

West Greene dropped their record down to 19-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Chuckey-Doak, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

As of now, neither West Greene nor Chuckey-Doak have any future games scheduled.
