Elder typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday La Salle proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Elder Panthers by a score of 53-43. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Panthers back in January, they had to take a 42-40 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Salle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Patrick Mclaughlin, who went 5 of 7 en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady O'Connor, who went 5 for 9 to rack up 11 points and five boards.

La Salle's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 11-9. As for Elder, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

La Salle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-38 win against Turpin on the 11th. As for Elder, they have also already played their next match, a 57-43 defeat against Olentangy Liberty on the 8th.
