Basketball Game Preview: Stafford Indians vs. Brooke Point Black Hawks

The Stafford Indians and the Brooke Point Black Hawks will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Stafford will be strutting in after a victory while Brooke Point will be coming in after a defeat.

Stafford will bounce into Friday's game after beating Riverbend, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Stafford snuck past Riverbend with a 53-49 win on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Brooke Point took a blow against Colonial Forge on Thursday, falling 59-18. The loss continues a trend for the Black Hawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Stafford is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Brooke Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Stafford's way against Brooke Point in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Stafford made off with a 56-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stafford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
