Volleyball Recap: Hill Country Christian School of Austin Comes Up Short

Hill Country Christian School of Austin lost against Brazos Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Eagles. The Knights' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Brazos Christian a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 38-36, 25-17, 20-25, 25-22.

Hill Country Christian School of Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Brazos Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hill Country Christian School of Austin will face off against rival Vanguard College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brazos Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Round Rock Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
