Volleyball Recap: St. John's Cadets vs. Paul VI Panthers
After flying high against Bishop McNamara last Thursday, St. John came back down to earth. The Cadets came up short against the Paul VI Panthers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.
While St. John's ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.
Morgan Reeves paced St. John's offense, picking up 11 kills. Reeves got some help from Wynn Eaton and her 17 assists. Gabrielle Deutz and Alexandra Potter kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
