Basketball Recap: Pike Central Takes a Loss

Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a blow against the Forest Park Rangers, falling 56-20. The Chargers lost against the Rangers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 37-31 score last time.

Pike Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Forest Park, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-13.

Pike Central has already played their next contest (against Tecumseh), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Forest Park will take on North Posey at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Posey will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Forest Park surely won't give up without a fight.
