Recap: Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles vs. Northwest Jaguars
The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 52-41 to Northwest. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Seneca Valley has scored all season.
Several Screamin' Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaysen Moise, who scored 13 points. The contest was Moise's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Korey Trone was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five steals.
Seneca Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Northwest, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.
Seneca Valley will face off against Quince Orchard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Quince Orchard has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three games. Northwest will be home for the holidays to greet Clarksburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Clarksburg comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
