Carrollton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Edwards County Lions 62-44 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Lauren Flowers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 35 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Carrollton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Flowers, who posted ten points along with six boards and five steals.

Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Edwards County, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-9.

Carrollton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-39 victory against Cissna Park on the 6th. Edwards County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
