Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Xavier). They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Elder Panthers on Monday. The Bombers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 10th (when they won 8-1).

St. Xavier's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-1. As for Elder, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

St. Xavier will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
