Softball Recap: Orange Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Orange won against Williams on Friday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Orange Panthers didn't even let the Williams Bulldogs on the board, marking the Orange Panthers' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Kylee Allen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Molly Kate Ollis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Orange hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in four consecutive games.

Orange pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Williams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Coming up, Orange will face off against Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Orange is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Williams, they will be playing at home against Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
