Basketball Recap: Willard Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Willard won the last time they faced West Plains and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Willard Tigers secured a 76-70 W over the West Plains Zizzers.

Willard's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. As for West Plains, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Willard will welcome Marshfield at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Willard knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Marshfield likes a good challenge. As for West Plains, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Salem at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
