Uwharrie Charter Academy put the hurt on Trinity with a sharp 16-0 victory. With that win, the Eagles brought their scoring average up to 7.2 runs per game.

Katelyn West made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Uwharrie Charter Academy got a massive performance out of Abbie Cruea, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Victoria Jennings, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
