Baseball Recap: Bishop England Victorious

Bishop England won against May River last Friday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Battling Bishops narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Beaufort Eagles 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Battling Bishops have posted since March 8th.

WILL RISSMILLER spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on JACKSON WINER, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
