Recap: Flowing Wells Caballeros vs. Mountain View Mountain Lions
The Flowing Wells Caballeros won the last time they faced the Mountain View Mountain Lions, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Flowing Wells walked away with a 45-35 victory over Mountain View. The win made it back-to-back wins for Flowing Wells.
Flowing Wells' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brianna Potter, who scored 14 points along with six steals. Another player making a difference was Kayla Bailey, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Flowing Wells has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Mountain View, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.
Flowing Wells will take on Pueblo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pueblo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Thursday. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to square off against Catalina Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Catalina Foothills is ranked 89th, while Mountain View is ranked 110th).
