Linganore had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.7 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 61-30 win over the Manchester Valley Mavericks. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Manchester Valley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taylor Fique, who posted seven points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilah Kresslein, who put up 11 points.

Linganore pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points over those games. As for Manchester Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Linganore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manchester Valley, they will square off against Urbana at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
