Ashville had already won 15 in a row and they went ahead and made it 16 on Monday. They put the hurt on the Oneonta Redskins with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ashville took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-11.

Lydia Northam paced Ashville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Northam got some help from Ryleigh Cothran and her 22 assists. Cothran also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Evelyn Dole, racking up two apiece.

Ashville's win bumped their record up to 30-2. As for Oneonta, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Coincidentally, Ashville and Oneonta will both be playing Hayden the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Redskins will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
