Football Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats vs. Madison Academy Mustangs + How To Watch

Westminster Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Madison Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Westminster Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while Madison Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Westminster Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They skirted past New Hope 28-25. The win was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jason Rutledge went supernova, picking up 89 receiving yards and two TDs. He is becoming a predictor of Westminster Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Houston Scott, who threw for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Madison Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 49-27 to Plainview. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since November 15, 2024.

Westminster Christian Academy will have to contain Charleston Owens as he made an impact in Madison Academy's last game. He rushed for 149 yards on only eight carries, and also threw for 163 yards and one TD.

Westminster Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Madison Academy, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 7-2.

Westminster Christian Academy came up short against Madison Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 21-17. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
