Softball Recap: James Clemens Takes a Loss

James Clemens saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 11-1 to the Hatton Hornets. That's two games in a row now that the Jets have lost by exactly ten runs.

James Clemens saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaslyn Ragan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

James Clemens has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-20-2 record this season. As for Hatton, their win bumped their record up to 12-19-2.

James Clemens has already played their next game, a 17-16 victory against Columbia on the 14th. As for Hatton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 defeat against Lawrence County on the 12th.
