Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest was the 8-4 winner over T.L. Hanna when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Yellow Jackets by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Hillcrest has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for T.L. Hanna, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-15.

Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for T.L. Hanna, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eastside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
