Soccer Recap: Westbrook Christian Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Westbrook Christian was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor the Pell City Panthers could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Westbrook Christian's record moves to 2-3-1. Meanwhile, Pell City's record is now 7-2-1.

Coming up, Westbrook Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Sylacauga at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sylacauga will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Westbrook Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pell City, they will venture away from home to square off against Gardendale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gardendale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
