Basketball Recap: Terry Comes Up Short

Terry lost against Randle back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Terry Rangers were dealt a 65-37 loss at the hands of the Randle Lions.

Randle was led to victory by Kurynn McNeill and Alaysia Cook. McNeill went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Cook went 9 of 17 on her way to 18 points and five steals. Cook is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. Sydney Gilmore was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Terry has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season. As for Randle, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-12.

Terry has already played their next game (against Victoria East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Randle has already played their next contest, a 45-39 victory against Fort Bend Marshall on the 24th.
