Softball Recap: Bishop England Comes Up Short

Bishop England fell victim to Beaufort and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Beaufort Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Battling Bishops have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop England's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beaufort, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Bishop England will be playing in front of their home fans against May River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. May River will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Beaufort, they will head out on the road to square off against Battery Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
