            Volleyball Recap: Westlake Thunder vs. American Fork Cavemen        
        
		
        
        
            Westlake faced American Fork in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Westlake came out on top against American Fork by a score of  3-1. This was a revenge game for the Thunder: when they faced off against the Cavemen  back in March, they had to take a  2-1  loss.
 The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 25-16,  25-19.
  Talon Schank went supernova,  getting 21  digs and one  assist. He is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as he's  now  had 15 or more in each of the last six games he's  played.
  Jarett Santiago and  Evan Olmstead certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss.  Santiago  had 31 assists and three  digs, while  Olmstead  had 19  digs and two  assists.  Kapono Manuela also deserves some recognition as  he  had his first  digs of the season.

Westlake's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-2. As for American Fork, they now  have a losing record of 6-7.
