Volleyball Game Preview: Delta Panthers vs. Summit Tigers

The Delta Panthers will head out to challenge the Summit Tigers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Delta lost 3-0 to Glenwood Springs on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Summit came up short against Glenwood Springs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Demons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-10.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Delta couldn't quite get it done against Summit when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
