Volleyball Recap: Snow Canyon Takes a Loss

Snow Canyon lost against Cedar back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Reds, falling 3-0.

Snow Canyon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Cedar work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 25-16.

Tali Tupe paced Snow Canyon's offense, picking up 19 kills. Tupe got some help from Solaya Barker-Winton and her 22 assists. Tupe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Snow Canyon's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Cedar, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Snow Canyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Stansbury on the 29th. As for Cedar, they will challenge Hurricane at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
