Basketball Recap: Winnebago Lutheran Academy Takes a Loss

Winnebago Lutheran Academy lost against St. Mary's Springs back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Winnebago Lutheran Academy Vikings lost 64-42 to the St. Mary's Springs Ledgers. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Ledgers are ranked 91st).

Winnebago Lutheran Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for St. Mary's Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Winnebago Lutheran Academy will welcome North Fond du Lac at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's Springs, they will venture away from home to face off against Omro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
