Softball Recap: Collinsville Pirates vs. Whitewright Tigers
Collinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Whitewright Tigers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.
Collinsville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoey Kays, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Kays also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
Collinsville's record is now 2-11. As for Whitewright, their record now sits at 9-5.
Looking ahead, Collinsville will take on Tom Bean at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
