Baseball Recap: Wolcott RVT Has No Trouble Against Wright Tech

Wolcott RVT won the last time they faced Wright Tech and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Warriors 13-2. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Daniel Mazzetti was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jason Miller, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Brody Nadeu was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Wolcott RVT's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Wright Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
