Basketball Recap: Marmaduke Comes Up Short

Marmaduke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 70-44 to the Rector Cougars. The Greyhounds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 49-43.

Marmaduke's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Rector, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Marmaduke will be playing at home against Cross County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rector, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-38 loss against Riverside on the 14th.
