Volleyball Recap: Halifax Academy's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Halifax Academy came tearing into Wednesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against The Oakwood School Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-10, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Halifax Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Ricks, who had ten aces and three digs. Those ten aces gave Ricks a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessa Pope, who had six aces and three digs.

Halifax Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for The Oakwood School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

As of now, neither Halifax Academy nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
