Softball Recap: Anderson-Shiro's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Anderson-Shiro lost against Coldspring-Oakhurst last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Anderson-Shiro lost 15-1 to Coldspring-Oakhurst. Fighting Owls fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Trojans since on Monday.

Anderson-Shiro's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-5. As for Coldspring-Oakhurst, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Anderson-Shiro will take on rival Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coldspring-Oakhurst is set to square off against their familiar foe New Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
