Softball Recap: Ramona Rams vs. Canyon Springs Cougars
There's no place like home for Ramona, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Canyon Springs Cougars with a sharp 9-0 victory on Friday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.
Kaytlin Stephens made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
