After a string of three wins, Crestwood's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keenan Raiders.

It was another big night for Brian Sumpter, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 boards for Keenan. The game was Sumpter's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Antoine Caughman Jr, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Keenan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestwood will venture away from home to face off against South Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully South Florence likes a good challenge. As for Keenan, they will head out on the road to square off against Newberry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keenan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.6 points per game this season.
