Recap: Pittsfield Generals vs. Agawam Brownies
The Pittsfield Generals were the 78-59 winner over the Agawam Brownies when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Pittsfield fell just short of Agawam by a score of 67-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Pat Brennan, who scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. Makai Shepardson was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Pittsfield and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Agawam, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Pittsfield will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wahconah Regional at 7:30 p.m. Wahconah Regional has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 309 points over their last five games. As for Agawam, they will head out on the road to face off against Taconic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
