Basketball Recap: Eldorado Takes a Loss

Eldorado lost against Canyon Springs back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Firehawks came up short against the Pioneers, falling 67-41.

Despite the defeat, Eldorado saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jasmine Rodriquez posted 20 points.

Eldorado's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Canyon Springs, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4.

Eldorado and Canyon Springs will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Firehawks see the court they'll take on Green Valley at 5:00 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for Canyon Springs, their break will end when they face Spring Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026.
