Football Game Recap: Wells vs. Oak Hill

Wells put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything came up roses for them against Oak Hill as the squad secured a 56-13 win. That result was just more of the same for Wells, who also won the last time these teams played.

Wells' offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Oak Hill came up with 13 to make it 28-13 heading into the break. The Wells defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Wells' record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Oak Hill back to even at 2-2.

Wells will look to defend their home turf next week against Lisbon/St. Dominic at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep their 4-game winning streak alive. As for Oak Hill, they will face off against Madison/Carrabec. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
