Carlson extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Izaiah Wright. The Marauders came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 27-23 W against the Woodhaven Warriors with plenty of help from Wright, who rushed for 223 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Woodhaven's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Preston Scheffler, who threw for 242 yards and a pair of TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (107 yards to be exact) went to Tyler Lennon, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Carlson's record is now 7-0. As for Woodhaven, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
