Soccer Recap: Gustine Comes Up Short

After soaring to six goals the game before, Gustine was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delhi Hawks. The Reds haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Gustine's goal came courtesy of Eric Mora, who's now up to 22 this season.

Gustine's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-5. As for Delhi, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6-5.

Gustine wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Denair on the 21st. Delhi has also already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Mariposa County on the 21st.
