Softball Recap: Hall Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Hall hadn't done well against Putnam County recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Red Devils came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 9-5. The victory was familiar territory for the Red Devils, who have now won three games in a row.

Madison Krewer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Bernie Larsen and Charlie Pellegrini did most of the damage at the plate: Larsen went 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one double, while Pellegrini went 4-for-5 with four runs and three doubles. Those four runs gave Pellegrini a new career-high. Caroline Morris was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hall kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Hall's win bumped their record up to 10-21. As for Putnam County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

As of now, neither Hall nor Putnam County have any future games scheduled.
