Football Game Preview: East Hall Vikings vs. Jefferson Dragons + Official Tickets

East Hall is 0-3 against Jefferson since October of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Vikings will host the Dragons at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, East Hall ended up a good deal behind Oconee County and lost 28-14. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Although East Hall took the loss, they still got scores from Lukas Pruitt and Chasen Jones.

Meanwhile, Jefferson strolled past Monroe Area with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 22-7. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Purple Hurricanes are ranked 118th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for East Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

East Hall was dealt a bruising 49-7 defeat at the hands of Jefferson in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Vikings, Gavin Markey (who rushed for 123 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 125 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes) won't be suiting up this time.
