Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Takes a Loss

If King's Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clayton-Bradley Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. King's Academy lost 3-0 to Concord Christian on Thursday. King's Academy hasn't had much luck with Concord Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-23.

Concord Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Manhattan Shuler out in front who had 16 assists and seven digs. That's the most assists Shuler has posted over her last nine matches.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Concord Christian, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7.

As of now, neither King's Academy nor Concord Christian have any future games scheduled.
